Missions at Sea

The central Mediterranean is the world's deadliest frontier. The Mare Jonio sails regularly between Libya and the Strait of Sicily to monitor the area and rescue people in distress. We view human life as sacred, to be saved at all costs.

Land Missions

Mediterranea Saving Humans is present wherever there is a need, including on land migration routes. We have taken part in missions in Bosnia, supported migrants along the Balkan Route, and recently started our engagement in the Ukraine, bringing aid and medical support to the war-torn population.
