The 16th humanitarian aid mission by Mediterranea Saving Humans in Ukraine has concluded.

Promoted by the Pescara Ground Crew, with the participation of activists from Bologna, Belluno, and Naples, the mission delivered food, hygiene products, and materials for children to the refugee camps in Lviv, where people who had been forced to leave their homes in the eastern part of the country, occupied by the Russian military, have been living for two and a half years.

In Ukraine, prices continue to rise, making access to essential goods increasingly difficult.

Together with the Sant'Egidio Community, we distributed blankets donated by Sheep Italia to refugees in the camps and to the homeless living in public parks in Lviv.

Chemotherapy drugs were delivered to the pediatric oncology hospital in Lviv, which has become the first hospital in Ukraine for the treatment of childhood cancers.

We observed that fewer and fewer international organizations are providing support to the war refugees, who are living in a state of abandonment after two and a half years of war.

People living in Lviv continue to live in fear of missile attacks, especially those involving drones.

In recent months, several power plants have been hit, leading to the reintroduction of power rationing, with electricity being unavailable in the city for up to 10 continuous hours.

As winter approaches, the third winter spent in war, the energy emergency once again becomes one of the main crises faced by displaced people.
