"Return Improvement Act” ("Rückführungsverbesserungs gesetz"): Germany speeds up the deportation procedures

On January 18th, the Bundestag decided on new deportation regulations. The law was passed with a majority of the SPD, Greens and FDP.

Our focus in Firenze was introducing the launch of the ARiL Human Rights Defenders’ Campaign, which was to take place on the 26-27th of January, in Bologna, with the purpose of raising awareness and finding ways for the evacuation of the 221 Human Rights Defenders from Libya.
